Welcome to the Budget Investigator. The Budget Investigator will look into your spending habits while creating a budget, offer specific recommendations to improve your financial situation, and provide suggestions to improve your quality of life.

The Budget Investigator will ask for general information on your household, 13 different forms of  incomes, 30 separate debts types, and request you answer 12 multiple choice questions. After the information is entered the Budget Helper will analyze the information and make comparisons with thousands of pieces of information. Further,  several thousand database records will be reviewed and  only those that will benefit you directly will be printed for your review.

Specifically, six individual reports will be provided to you. Each of these reports will assist you in developing a better insight into your spending habits and how to make improvements in your home financial situation.

AVAILABLE REPORTS INCLUDE (sample reports only):

BUDGET - A list of all incomes and expenses that you have entered is displayed in an organized and understandable form. Additionally, your debt-to-income ratio will be provided giving you a clear idea where your dollars are being spent.

BUDGET COMMENTS - Specific comments will be provided in each of 8 separate areas. We will analyze your spending habits in the areas of; housing, utilities, food, transportation, medical, clothing, investments, and installment loans.

BUDGETING IDEAS - This report is a narrative of your overall budgeting and financial situation.

INVESTMENT IDEAS AND RELATED INFORMATION - An in-depth review of investments, with general comments on your investment habits. Your income is compared with other Americans in the same income bracket as well as the types of specific financial assets.

FINANCIAL STATISTICS BASED ON INCOME BRACKET - This report gives you an idea of the types of debt held by Americans in your income bracket. Also, a review of per capita income, and average income based on race for the displayed years and number of bankruptcies in your state is provided..

FINANCE TEST - This twelve question test will assist the Budget Investigator in conducting an indepth review of your personal financial situation.
